Britax Parkway Booster Car Seat

The Parkway Booster which accommodates children from 40-100 pounds and 38”-60” is one of the only booster seats to offer “True Side Impact Protection.” The EPS foam-padded headrest wings and torso are engineered to provide vital protection to your child in the event of a side-impact crash and when its nap time the headrest is pretty comfy too! The Parkway’s headrest easily adjusts with only one hand, and allows the seat to grow with your child up to 60” tall.

One shortcoming in the design of the Parkway Booster Seat is the width. Some parents complain that the 10” wide seat is a snug fit for their toddler, while the Graco seats run 11.5”-12”. Their other complaint is that the back of the seat is not removable. A removable seat back nice feature for a growing child. I guess the designers thought that since the back can extend to 60” parents wouldn’t want to take it off. But older kids like the freedom and they think they’re too “sophisticated” to be traveling in a seat with a back.

So as long as you don’t mind investing in a backless booster after they graduate from the Parkway and your child is not in the 50th percentile on the growth chart I think you’ll like this seat.
